EARTH 2 EARTH
On June 17th, Nikki presented her collection Earth 2 Earth virtually in lieu of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The Collection featured themes around racism, genocide, and climate change.
On a mission to spread awareness...
Nikki is one of the resident artists of the Down 2 Earth Residency created by Capital Fringe in partnership with the Friends of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, and Caandor Labs. This program was created to fund artists to create work on social justice and climate change while drawing inspiration from the Kenilworth Aquatic Garden National Park located in Washington, D.C. This will be a year long project involving the work of four artists and documented in seasons and episodes. Nikki will be creating a clothing collection with those themes and present them in a virtual fashion show scheduled to air June 2021.
