Half N' Half SS18
An exploration of the Japanese Hip-Hop/ Underground style and African American Hip-Hop Style combined. Inspired by Nikki Hendricks' nephew Jin, who is half Black and half Japanese. She combined Japanese-inspired fabric with American urban style to create a unique line of clothing.
The Blends SS17
After interviewing 20 models, Nikki asked them all what symbols best represented their varying cultural and sexual identities. She then created a fabric including all of those symbols in order to allow the wearer to feel represented. In following this method, Nikki discovered the commonality among people of varying genders, race and ethnicity.
